A new key visual and three more new cast members have been revealed for the upcoming A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2026.
The three new cast members joining the series includes Tetsuya Kakihara as Eleven, Jun Fukuyama as Stud, and Daiki Yamashita as Judge.
They join a main voice cast headlined by Soma Saito as Lizel and Yuichiro Umehara as Gil.
Kenta Noda (DUEL MASTERS! assistant director) is directing the anime series, with Yosuke Suzuki (Doraemon co-scriptwriter) as series screenwriter and Akito Fujiwara as character designer. SynergySP is in charge of the animation production, with assistance from Ascension.
The original adventure fantasy light novel series is written by Misaki and illustrated by Sando. It was first published under TO Books’ TO Bunko imprint on June 9, 2018 and has released 20 volumes as of April 2025, which includes two short story collections.
A manga adaptation by Momochi was launched in December 2018, with the story composition credited to 8KEY and the original character designs to Sando.
Tokyopop releases the manga adaptation of A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation in English, describing the main synopsis as:
When Lizel mysteriously finds himself in a city that bears odd similarities to his own but clearly isn’t, he quickly comes to terms with the unlikely truth: this is an entirely different world. Even so, laid-back Lizel isn’t the type to panic. He immediately sets out to learn more about this strange place, and to help him do so, hires a seasoned adventurer named Gil as his tour guide and protector.
Until he’s able to find a way home, Lizel figures this is a perfect opportunity to explore a new way of life adventuring as part of a guild. After all, he’s sure he’ll go home eventually… might as well enjoy the otherworldly vacation for now!
