Three more new cast members have been revealed for the upcoming The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest TV anime series. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 4, 2025.
The three new cast members will include Sakura Tange as Rosa Alhatia, Naoya Uchida as Leviel Stantz, and Akira Ishida as Loki Silveria.
They join the anime’s main voice cast that stars:
- • Shuichiro Umeda as Alec Ygret
- • Yurika Kubo as Yorha Eisenz
- • Masumi Tazawa as Krasia Annerose
- • Masaaki Mizunaka as Ornest Rain
Ken Takahashi (Ragna Crimson) is directing the anime series, with Masamune Hirata (A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero ED and Ep 11 director) as assistant director, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Flower and Asura) as series screenwriter, Yoko Sato (I’m in Love with the Villainess character designer and co-chief animation director) as character designer and chief animation director, and Nobuhide Hayashi (A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero) as sub-character designer. Gekkou is in charge of the animation production.
The series began as a web novel written by Alto on Shosetsuka ni Naro on October 11, 2020. It was later published as a light novel series by Kodansha’s K Ranove Books imprint on August 2, 2021, which includes new illustrations by Yunagi. Five volumes have been published in Japan as of August 2024.
A manga adaptation by Yuki Monji was launched in July 2021. It has been published in English digitally via Kodansha’s K Manga app service.

Once a loyal court magician supporting the crown prince from behind the scenes, Alec Ygret is cast aside and exiled for only knowing support magic. But just as he hits rock bottom, he reunites with Yorha Eisentz, a former comrade from the legendary party Lasting Period. Invited to rejoin the team that once made history, Alec returns to dungeon exploration — and begins a new chapter in his life!
