A trailer for next January’s Hell’s Paradise Season 2 has been released. The preview for our return to the beautiful yet nightmarish island of the story includes shots of a one-on-one between male protagonist Gabimaru and Chobei Aza as well as more looks at the new Yamada Asaemon arrivals.

The trailer was accompanied by the release of a character visual of familiar faces and a preview of the newcomers’ designs. The voices behind the new characters were revealed as well:

Koji Yusa is Yamada Asaemon Jikka
Maya Uchida is Yamada Asaemon Kiyomaru
Sayaka Ohara is Yamada Asaemon Isuzu

Additionally, Netflix announced that it will be streaming the new season in Asia.

Hell’s Paradise (Jigokuraku) is an adaptation of the Shueisha-published manga by Yuji Kaku, which ran from 2018 to 2021 on Shonen Jump+. The premise sees a group of dangerous criminals and executioners forced on a mission to a deadly island to seek an immortality elixir for the shogun.

The first season first aired during the Spring 2023 anime season and is currently available on platforms like Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu. Crunchyroll announced last December that it will stream the new season.

Viz Media publishes the manga in English with the title Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku.
