A fourth new trailer has been revealed for the ongoing Solo Camping for Two TV anime series, which features the new opening theme song for the show’s second cour. The upcoming second cour is expected to premiere in Japan on October 2, 2025. The series first aired on July 11, 2025.
The second cour’s opening theme previewed in the new trailer is “Futari de Iyo ka” by HOKUTO. The trailer also has English subtitles.
The previous opening theme for the first ocur was “Akari wa Toku” by Skirt, while the ending theme was “Futari Camp feat. SPECIAL OTHERS” by Masayoshi Oishi.
Jun Hatori (Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku, Too Cute Crisis) is directing the anime series, with Aya Satsuki (Too Cute Crisis) as series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter, Tomomi Shimazaki (Mr. Villain’s Day Off) as character designer, and Hiroyuki Hasegawa (Ah My Buddha, Banner of the Stars III) as background art director. SynergySP is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast stars:

The anime is based on Yudai Debata‘s camping slice of life manga series (known as Futari Solo Camp in Japan), which was first launched in Kodansha’s Evening magazine on October 9, 2018. The manga then moved to the Comic Days manga app on April 21, 2023 after Evening ceased publication on February 18, 2023. It then resumed serialization in Morning magazine on December 14, 2023, where it has been serialized since. Twenty tankobon volumes have been released as of April 2025.
Kodansha began publishing the manga digitally in English via its K MANGA service this past June.
Crunchyroll is streaming Solo Camping for Two worldwide, and describes the main premise as:
Gen Kinokura just wanted to enjoy his peaceful solo camping trips—no distractions, no problems. Enter Shizuku Kusano, a clueless but enthusiastic newbie who crashes his campsite (literally).
