A main trailer has been released for Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Kanketsu-hen Dainisho (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club The Movie – Finale – Chapter 2), the second of a trilogy that will conclude the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime.

We see parts of Ai Miyashita’s and Mia Taylor’s performances, various group shots, and a bit of drama as some of the cast grapple with worries and conflicts related to being a school idol.

The footage also confirms that the loss of the visual director credit held by Bocchi the Rock! character designer Kerorira isn’t without reason — the character designs of this second chapter no longer bear resemblance to Kerorira’s simpler-looking forms.

Last year’s Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club The Movie – Finale – Chapter 1 saw the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club receiving an invitation to the School Idol Grand Prix. While the first movie followed Ayumu, Kasumi, Shizuku, Kanata, Ema, and Lanzhu as they headed off to Okinawa, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Kanketsu-hen Dainisho will focus on Setsuna, Ai, Rina, Mia, Karin, and Shioriko and feature Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe as its main locations.. There will be an appearance from Mia’s older sister Chloe as well.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is one of the titles in the Love Live! multimedia franchise, with the anime having a focus on solo performances Two TV seasons aired in 2020 and 2022, while an OVA was released in 2023.

The starting Nijigasaki cast was announced in 2017 as part of the now-defunct Love Live! School Idol Festival game’s PERFECT Dream Project anniversary project. The original voice actor of the character Setsuna Yuki, Tomori Kusunoki, departed from the role on March 31, 2023 JST due to medical reasons.

The new movie premieres in Japan on November 7, 2025 JST.
