A new trailer has been released for the currently airing Cultural Exchange with a Game Centre Girl TV anime series, previewing the show’s 12th and final episode that will premiere in Japan on September 28, 2025. The anime began broadcasting on July 6, 2025. 

Toshihiro Kikuchi (Giji Harem) is directing the anime series, with Rikiya Okano (Alice Gear Aegis Expansion) as character designer and Yasunori Yamada (Hybrid x Heart Magias Academy Ataraxia) as series screenwriter. Nomad is serving as the animation production company. 

Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast stars:

  • • Shoya Chiba as Renji Kusakabe
  • • Reo Osanai as Aoi Kusakabe
  • • Kaori Ishihara as Hotaru Katsuragi
  • • Asaki Yuikawa as Karin Kaga

The original manga series by Hirokazu Yasuhara began serialization on KADOKAWA’s Dra Dra Sharp on May 15, 2020 and has released 10 tankobon volumes as of July 2025. The manga began as a webcomic on Yasuhara’s Twitter/X and pixiv accounts.

Crunchyroll is streaming Cultural Exchange With Game Centre Girl worldwide, and describes the main premise as: 

Kusakabe Renji, a young man working at a game centre, sees an English girl named Lily Baker playing a crane game on Valentine’s Day. Seeing her fail repeatedly to win a prize, Renji can’t help but take action. The day after Lily finally gets her plushie, Renji receives an unexpected message from her that reads, “Be my valentine!” What started as a misunderstanding leads to cultural exchange!
