Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Film Unveils 6th New Key Visual Featuring Hakuji & Koyuki featured image

A sixth new key visual has been the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle anime film, showcasing Akaza’s past as Hakuji sharing a heartfelt moment with Koyuki under some bright fireworks. 

A special video of the new visual was also released. 

The film’s first part, titled in Japan as Gekijoban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou-hen Daiisshou Akaza Sairai, premiered in Japanese theaters on July 18, 2025. It began screening in IMAX and premium large formats in the U.S. and Canada on September 12, 2025, with Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment distributing the film.

The film has recorded a global gross of US$555 million, following its second box office weekend, becoming the most successful anime film of all time. 

The returning staff from the TV anime series working on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle include Haruo Sotozaki as director, Akira Matsushima as character designer, Yuko Omae as color designer, Yuichi Terao as compositing director, Masaru Yanaka (reprising from Mugen Train and Hashira Training Arc) and Yuri Kabazawa (reprising from Mugen Train and Hashira Training Arc) as background art directors, and Koji Eto (since Hashira Training Arc) as background art supervisor. Ufotable is handling the animation production and script production. 

Meanwhile, the main voice cast stars: 

  • • Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro Kamado
  • • Akari Kito as Nezuko Kamado
  • • Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu Agatsuma
  • • Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke Hashibira

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series began with its 2019 first season, which was soon followed by the 2020 Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – the Movie: Mugen Train (Japan’s number one film at the domestic box office). Other entries include a TV broadcast version of Mugen Train, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc. Crunchyroll is currently streaming all entries of the anime franchise on its service. 

The original manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 15, 2016 to May 18, 2020. Twenty-three total tankobon volumes were released during its publication.

VIZ Media releases the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga series in English, describing the main premise as:

Learning to destroy demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers—but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!
