A new visual of Yuzuki Nanase has been revealed for the upcoming Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle TV anime series, showcasing the character sitting in an underpass to shelter from the rain. The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan on October 7, 2025 and will run for two split cours. REMOW has licensed the anime series.

This is the second visual as part of the anime’s “Chiramune Fukui Graffiti” project, which features characters from the series blended into live-action photos of Fukui taken by local photographer tomosaki.

The first visual in this photo series was released earlier this past July, which includes many of the main characters.
Yuji Tokuno is directing the anime series, with Naruhisa Arakawa (More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers) as series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter, Hiromu as co-scriptwriter, and Sumie Kinoshita (Spy Classroom) as character designer. Feel. is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:
- • Shogo Sakata as Saku Chitose
- • Manaka Iwami as Yuko Hiiragi
- • Hina Yomiya as Yua Uchida
- • Ikumi Hasegawa as Yuzuki Nanase
- • Rumi Okubo as Haru Aomi
- • Chika Anzai as Asuka Nishino
The anime adaptation is the series directorial debut of Tokuno, who worked as storyboard artist and episode director for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 20, OSHI NO KO Episode 10, and YAIBA: Samurai Legend Episode 6.
The original light novel series is written by Hiromu and illustrated by raemz. It was first published under Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko label on June 18, 2019 and has released nine main volumes as of August 2024, which includes two short story collections. Yen Press licensed the light novels for release in English.
The series inspired a manga adaptation by Bobcat from 2020 to 2025. It was published by Square Enix, with Yen Press also releasing it in English.

Yen Press describes the main synopsis of Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle light novels as:
Being popular isn’t easy. It’s hard to beat Saku Chitose. The most popular kid in his high school? Check. An ironclad reputation that can weather even vicious online attacks? Check. A group of friends as attractive on the outside as they are inside? Check. But when a teacher asks for his help bringing back a student who has been shut away in his room for months, Saku’s perfect world will never be the same. What is this, some kind of normie harem story…?
