A trailer for the Tamon’s B-Side (Tamon-kin Ima Docchi!?) anime adaptation has arrived, previewing heroine Utage Kinoshita’s meeting with the insecure singer Tamon Fukuhara.
The fun preview also has a sneak peek of the song “Supernova” by the in-universe group f/ace.
Tamon’s B-Side is set to premiere in January 2026. The anime is based on the manga by Yuki Shiwasu, which has been serialized in Hakusensha’s shojo publication Hana to Yume since 2021 and will release its 12th volume on October 20, 2025 JST. Viz Media describes the plot as such:
Tamon is an insecure mess in real life, and what’s worse, he’s threatening to quit! Utage refuses to let anyone stand in Tamon’s way—least of all himself. What’s a fangirl to do but roll up her sleeves and support her favorite singer with everything she’s got?
