A new trailer, opening theme song, and more cast members have been revealed for the upcoming third season of To Your Eternity. The third season will premiere in Japan on October 4, 2025 and will air for 22 episodes.
The latest trailer previews the show’s new opening theme for season three “Fumetsu no Anata” by Japanese girl group Perfume. The group recently announced it would enter an indefinite hiatus starting in 2026.
The four new cast members joining the series (from left to right below) for season three include:
- • Rumi Okubo as Mimori
- • Shizuka Ito as Izumi
- • Shinichiro Miki as Itsuki
- • Tasuku Hatanaka as Hirotoshi

They join a main voice cast that stars:
- • Reiji Kawashima as Fushi (reprising)
- • Kenjiro Tsuda as the Beholder (reprising)
- • Tomori Kusunoki as Mizuha (previously the voice of Hisome in Season 2)
- • Yumiri Hanamori as Satoru
- • Megumi Han as Yuki Aoki (previously the voice of Torta in Season 2)
Kiyoko Sayama (Season 2 director) is serving as chief director for the third season, with Sota Yokote (Bye Bye, Earth assistant director) as director, Shinzo Fujita (reprising) as series screenwriter, Koji Yabuno (reprising) as character designer, and Ryo Kawasaki (reprising) as music composer. Drive (reprising from Season 2) and STUDIO MASSKET are in charge of the animation production.
Crunchyroll will stream the third season worldwide, and describes its main premise as:
Following the battles in Renril and the elimination of the Nokkers, Fushi awakens in the modern era. He enjoys a peaceful life surrounded by friends young and old. As ominous shadows begin to grow, Fushi learns of the true goals of his creator, The Beholder. Faced with new trials, the time is fast approaching for Fushi to make the ultimate decision.
The anime’s first season aired from April to August 2021, while Season 2 ran from October 2022 to March 2023.

The original fantasy drama manga series by Yoshitoki Oima was first serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on November 9, 2016 and ended on June 4, 2025. A total of 25 tankobon volumes were released in Japan.
Kodansha USA releases the To Your Eternity manga in English, and describes the main premise as:
A lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment. But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well …
