A new main key visual and trailer have been revealed for the upcoming second cour of Let This Grieving Soul Retire, which confirmed its TV broadcast in Japan starting on October 6, 2025. The anime will stream early on the d Anime Store and ABEMA services, beginning October 4, 2025.

The latest trailer also previews the second cour’s opening theme “Algorithm” by Kiyono Yasuno and ending theme “Yume no Hitokakera” by i☆Ris.
Masahiro Takata (The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch, The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World) is directing the anime series, with Hideki Shirane (The Duke of Death and His Maid, Date A Live Season 1 to 3) as screenwriter, and Yusuke Isochi (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) and Shingo Fujisaki (Skip and Loafer Episode 4 co-animation director, Undead Murder Farce Episode 3, 4, and 13 co-animation director) as character designers. ZERO-G is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

The first cour debuted early on select Japanese streaming services on September 29, 2024 and began its TV broadcast on October 1, 2024. It ran for 13 total episodes. Crunchyroll, Muse Asia, and bilibili streamed the series overseas, outside of Japan.
The original light novel series is written by Tsukikage and illustrated by Chyko. It was first published by Micro Magazine’s GC Novels label on August 30, 2018 and has released 12 volumes as of September 2024, including a short story collection. A 13th volume will be published in Japan on September 30, 2025. J-Novel Club is releasing the light novel series in English digitally after Sol Press’ license for the series expired in 2021.
The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on January 27, 2018 and has also inspired a 2019 manga by Rai Hebino. Yen Press releases the manga adaptation in English for North America.

Six childhood friends make a vow one day to become treasure hunters, and eventually grow to be the strongest heroes in the world.
