The main voice cast and a 2026 premiere has been announced for the upcoming Daemons of the Shadow Realm TV anime series during this year’s Aniplex Online Fest. The anime was first announced at Crunchyroll’s Anime Expo 2025 industry panel this past July.
The anime’s main voice cast will include:
- • Kensho Ono as Yuru
- • Yume Miyamoto as Asa
- • Yuichi Nakamura as Dera
- • Misaki Kuno as Gabu-chan
Masahiro Ando (Sword of the Stranger, CANAAN, Blast of Tempest) is directing the anime series at Bones Film.
Hiromu Arakawa’s supernatural adventure manga debuted in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan on December 10, 2021 and has released 10 volumes as of July 2025.
Square Enix Manga & Books releases the Daemons of the Shadow Realm manga series in English, and describes the main premise as:
In a world where certain humans command mighty supernatural duos called Daemons, it is the birthright of “the children who sunder day and night”—twins Yuru and Asa—to rule over these powerful entities.
