Crunchyroll has announced that a PvP-focused My Hero Academia MMORPG will join the game and game creation platform Roblox on September 6.

The game is called My Hero Academia: Ultimate and is developed by Gamefam “in partnership with Crunchyroll.” Crunchyroll says that the experience will let players control and “collect up to four heroes” — namely Deku, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tenya Ida — who each have “nine different abilities, costumes, skills, and emotes.” There’ll be quests, character progression with unlockable abilities and character levelling, and an open world that allows players to battle each other anywhere (there’s also a PvP arena in the form of UA Stadium).

Players will also be fighting “enemies from the show” and jostling for leaderboard positioning. The press release boasts “60+ hours of core content and thousands of additional hours with ongoing new events, characters, and update.”

My Hero Academia: Ultimate‘s launch comes ahead of My Hero Academia Final Season, which is set to premiere on October 4 and will be available on Crunchyroll. Fans of the My Hero Academia universe and franchise also have the MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice fighting game to keep an eye on, though there’s no release date for that one yet.
