Voice actor Takaya Kuroda is joining the voice cast of the ongoing second season of I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability. The second season of the TV anime series first aired in Japan on July 9, 2025 and will broadcast for 12 episodes.
Kuroda is voicing the character Kanzenshoku and will appear in the season two’s ninth episode (21st overall), which will be released on September 3, 2025.

Jin Tamamura (A Sister’s All You Need series director) is directing the second season, with Naoki Tozuka (T.P. Sakura: Time Paladin Sakura) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Naru Nishikori (Shadowverse Flame in-between checker) as character designer and chief animation director, Yuichi Abe (Superior Defender Gundam Force director) as action director, and R.O.N as music composer.
The original light novel series is written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru. It was first published by Kodansha’s Ranobe Bunko on July 2, 2020 and has released 10 volumes as of July 2025. The series began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on October 31, 2019.
A manga adaptation by Yosuke Kokuzawa was launched in June 2020 and is released in English by Kodansha USA.
Crunchyroll streamed the 12-episode first season of I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability as it aired in Japan in 2024. It describes the main synopsis as:
The study of magic requires aptitude, effort, and the right bloodline.
