The Solo Leveling ARISE OVERDRIVE action RPG has gotten a new trailer that reveals its November 17 release date for Steam and Xbox PC.
And according to IGN’s version of the trailer, 2026 will see the game’s release on PlayStation 5, in addition to the previously announced Xbox Series X/S version.
Pre-orders for both a standard and deluxe edition — with the latter providing 3-days early access and cosmetic items such as Sung Jinwoo Costume: Overdrive and Cha Hae-In Emoji set — are now available.
Solo Leveling ARISE OVERDRIVE developer Netmarble Neo also issued a statement on the title’s differences from 2024’s mobile and PC title Solo Leveling: ARISE (which will “continue to evolve on its own path”). “What we would like to emphasize first and foremost is that Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is a full-package game. Rather than relying on randomness when recruiting Hunters or crafting weapons, we’ve designed the game to reward effort and strategy, allowing you to feel a true sense of achievement,” says the official developer note from Development Producer Kim Gwang Hoon. “All the Hunters, Sung Jinwoo and their weapons, and the joy of progression can be earned and enjoyed entirely through in-game play.”
The note, which dives into the game’s features as well, also mentions that the developers wanted to “present new experiences and deeper gameplay aimed at PC and console that couldn’t be explored in ARISE.”
Solo Leveling ARISE OVERDRIVE will come with a 10-chapter main story (it’s also stated that the game will provide both the original webtoon story and “new adventures”) and up-to-four-player co-op. The developers say that co-op parties can support any combination of characters, so players can aura farm with four Sung Jinwoos or include other Hunters in the group.
