The latest climax visual for the ongoing second cour of Dr. Stone Science Future has been unveiled, which features several of the series’ prominent characters with the petrification weapon in the center. The second cour first broadcast in Japan on July 10, 2025 and will run for 12 episodes.
The new climax visual was released ahead of the second cour’s eighth episode (20th episode in the overall fourth and final season).
The main staff, who also worked on the first cour, consists of Shuhei Matsushita (Dr. Stone Ryusei and Dr. Stone New World) as director, Kurasumi Sunayama (The Healer Who Was Banished From His Party, Is, in Fact, the Strongest) as series screenwriter, and Yuko Iwasa (returning) as character designer. TMS Entertainment is handling the animation production.

Dr. Stone: Science Future‘s first cour premiered in Japan on January 9, 2025 and ran for 12 episodes until March 27, 2025. It is the final season of the Dr. Stone anime adaptation, which will air for three split cours.
The first season of Dr. Stone was released in 2019, which is followed by the second season of Stone Wars in 2021. The third season, Dr. Stone: New World, began its first cour in April 2023 and the second cour in October 2023.
The anime is based on the adventure science fiction manga, written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, which ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from March 6, 2017 to March 7, 2022 and released 27 total tankobon volumes. VIZ Media publishes the manga series in English.
