Cat’s Eye is set to premiere on September 26 JST. It is based on the manga by City Hunter‘s Tsukasa Hojo, which previously inspired two television anime seasons, a 1997 live-action film adaptation, and more. The story follows three sisters who are art thieves that steal the works of their lost father.

The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1981 to 1984 and later received a special one-shot in 1985. Eighteen tankobon volumes were originally published under the Jump Comics label.

There have been crossovers between Cat’s Eye and other titles, like City Hunter and Lupin the 3rd.
