The upcoming anime adaptation of the Let’s Play webcomic has received a main trailer and a main visual.

It was also announced that:

Let’s Play will premiere on October 1 .
Toshinobu Kubota is the opening (“1, 2, Play”) and ending theme song (“Left & Right”) artist.
• The voice cast (beyond the previously announced Kana Hanazawa as protagonist Sam Young) will include Ayane Sakura, Yoko Hikasa, Hiroshi Watanabe, Kengo Tsujii, and more.

The Let’s Play webcomic by Leeanne M. Krecic began in 2016 on WEBTOON and ran for three “seasons” there. In 2022, Krecic announced that there will be not be a fourth season on WEBTOON due to various difficulties with the platform.

Crunchyroll will stream the anime, and describes the premise as:

Samara “Sam” Young is a developer in Los Angeles who’s about to achieve her dreams with her first video game, Ruminate. That is, until a popular streamer gives the game a scathing review. Even worse, Sam finds out the troublesome critic is now her new neighbor! Get lost in a comedic, romantic, and all-too-real story about gaming, memes, and social anxiety. Come for the plot, stay for the doggo.
