The Pokémon Company has announced that San Francisco, California, will host the two largest Pokémon events in 2026: PokémonXP and Pokémon World Championship 2026. The announcement was made at the end of the Pokémon World Championship 2025, which was held in Anaheim, California, on Sunday, August 18.

PokémonXP is a brand-new event that will consist of a huge selection of experiences and activities, including panels, autograph sessions, special guests, and more.

Pokémon World Championships is a tournament where players from all over the world come to compete. The championships have a variety of tournaments from games across the Pokémon franchise, including the Pokémon Trading Card Game and video games.

PokémonXP and Pokémon World Championships 2026 will take place at the Moscone Center from August 28 to 30, 2026.
