The full list of winners have been announced for the second American Manga Awards, which took place at the Japan Society in New York City on August 21, 2025. The awards were once again hosted in collaboration between Anime NYC and the Japan Society. 

VIZ Media served as the “Gold Sponsor” of the 2025 American Manga Awards and also received industry support from Mad Cave Studios and Saturday AM, among other sponsors. 

The full list of winners for the 2025 American Manga Awards are as follows:

Additionally, manga translation and lettering company Studio Proteus was honored as this year’s Manga Publishing Hall of Fame inductee. Among the honorees highlighted for the induction were late founder Toren Smith, translator and first Hall of Fame member Frederik Schodt, letterer Tomoko Saito, translators Dana Lewis and Alan Gleason, writer/artist Adam Warren, and letterers/retouch artists Tom Orzechowski and Lois Athena Buhalis

The American Manga Awards celebrates “outstanding achievements in the world of Japanese comics” and honors professionals who have “significantly contributed to manga’s popularity in both North America and Japan.”
