A TV anime adaptation of The Villager of Level 999 (LV999 no Murabito) light novel series will premiere in 2026. A teaser trailer and teaser visual have been released.
The anime will star Satoshi Inomata as Koji Kagami and Nao Toyama as Alice. The staff includes:
• Director: Yoshinobu Kasai (180-Byo de Kimi no Mimi o Shiawase ni Dekiru ka?)
• Series composer: Shinzo Fujita (To Your Eternity)
• Character designer: Kentaro Matsumoto
• Animation production: Brain’s Base
The Villager of Level 999 light novel series is set in a world where one’s role is assigned to them. Koji is a villager who maxed his level to 999 villager and doesn’t see value in anything beyond making money, until he encounters the demon Alice. Eight volumes were published between 2016 and 2018.
Koneko Hoshitsuki wrote the KADOKAWA-published light novels and the earlier Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel that began in 2015. Fumi is the light novels’ illustrator.
