The Touring After the Apocalypse TV anime has received a main trailer, which depicts its two main characters’ fun trip across a vibrant post-apocalyptic landscape.

The main trailer was accompanied by the released of a key visual and a collaboration visual with That’s Journey, as well as the announcements of Conton Candy‘s “Touring” as the opening song and Myuk‘s “Glide” as the ending song.

Staff credits for the Nexus production were also revealed. They include:

• Director: Yoshinobu Tokumoto (Comic Girls)
• Series composer and scriptwriter: Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Shangri-la Frontier)
• Character designer and chief animation director: Usaku Myochin 
• Background art director: BON.Corp’s Lee Beom-seon (Casshern Sins)
• Compositing director: Takeshi Hirooka (The Eminence in Shadow)

Touring After the Apocalypse will premiere in October. The anime is based on the manga by Sakae Saito, which began serialization in KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Maoh in September 2020 and has seven volumes as of March 2025. Yen Press describes the plot as:

All alone after the end of days, two girls ride through the desolate ruins of Japan—but they’re not about to let the collapse of civilization get in the way of sightseeing! From the hot springs of Hakone to the massive Tokyo Big Sight, they’ve got the run of the country’s most popular tourist spots all to themselves, so why not make the most of it?
