Shonen Jump has released a new collaboration music video featuring Haikyuu!! and J-Rock band Burnout Syndromes. The video premiered on a special program celebrating the anime series’ 10th anniversary. The song, titled “Hikari Are,” served as the opening theme song for the third season of Haikyuu!!

The video not only celebrates the series’ 10-year anniversary, but it is also a commemorative video for the Sendai City Gymnasium. It features scenes and characters from the Haikyuu!! manga with photography of the actual gym being used as a backdrop.

Sendai City Gymnasium, known in Japanese as Kamei Arena Sendai, is an indoor sporting arena located in Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.  It was featured in both the anime and manga series.

Haikyuu!! is a sports manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. It was serialized in Shueisha’s first weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 2012 to July 2020 and released a total of 45 volumes. It inspired an anime adaptation, games, films, stage plays, and radio dramas.
