Shinobu Engages in Battle in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle’s New Visual featured image

A fourth key visual for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film has been released. This new illustration shows Shinobu Kocho in a desperate clash with Doma.

The visual comes a month after Infinity Castle (Gekijoban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou-hen Daiisshou Akaza Sairai) opened in Japan July 18 JST.

Infinity Castle is the first of a trilogy that will conclude the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series, with the Demon Slayer Corps’ and Muzan’s demons having a decisive confrontation in the titular Infinity Castle. Its  international run has already started, though its North American premiere isn’t due till September 12.

As of August 11 JST, Infinity Castle is the sixth highest-grossing movie in Japan.

The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime began with its 2019 first season, which was soon followed by 2020’s immensely successful Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – the Movie: Mugen Train (Japan’s number one film at the domestic box office). Other entries include a TV broadcast version of Mugen TrainDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District ArcDemon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc.

The anime are based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, which ran from 2016 to 2020 in Weekly Shonen Jump. Viz Media describes the manga as:

Learning to destroy demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers—but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!
