Gintama spin-off 3-nen Z-gumi Ginpachi-sensei will begin classes on October 6 JST (effectively October 7 at 12 AM JST). A main trailer and main visual were released with the premiere date announcement.

The main Gintama anime has featured shorts with the Ginpachi-sensei premise.
