A new visual has been released for the upcoming Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits TV anime series, highlighting Origin in a beautiful white wedding dress with a colorful bouquet of flowers. The anime series is scheduled to premiere in Japan in October 2025.
Toshinori Fukushima (Duel Masters LOST: Tsuioku no Suishou) is directing the anime series, with Toko Machida (YAIBA: Samurai Legend series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter and Mina Osawa (I Have a Crush at Work) as character designer. J.C.STAFF is handling the animation production of the series.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes Seria Fukagawa as Ellen, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Rovel, and Mai Nakahara as Origin.
The anime is based on the isekai light novel series, written by Matsuura and illustrated by keepout. It was published by Kadokawa Books from March 10, 2018 to October 7, 2022 and has released nine total volumes. The story was first published as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on September 10, 2016 until November 1, 2020.
The light novels also inspired a manga adaptation in September 2018. It is being published digitally in North America on Comikey and Square Enix’s Manga UP! app service.
Manga Up! describes the main synopsis of the Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits manga as:
“I became the spirit of elements when I reincarnated?!” Ellen is a young girl reincarnated from modern-day Japan as a half-spirit. Her father, Rovel, is the legendary hero who saved the kingdom, and her mother, Origin, is the primordial queen and ruler of all spirits. Furthermore, she herself has the overpowered ability to manipulate the elements. While looking absolutely adorable, this perfect little girl will fall back on her past life’s knowledge and the power of the spirits to protect her precious family!
