A new character trailer has been unveiled for the ongoing New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt TV anime series, highlighting the spicy transformation sequence of the angel brothers Polyester and Polyurethane. The series first premiered in Japan on July 9, 2025 and is expected to air for 13 episodes.
The latest character trailer features the theme song “Divine” by MONJOE & Taku Takahashi with SWEEP & JUVENILE.
Additionally, the anime’s official Twitter/X account announced the casting of Yoshino Aoyama as Gunsmith Bitch, who appears in the sixth episode on August 14, 2025.
Aoyama joins a voice cast that stars:

New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is the follow-up to the 2010 Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt anime from Gainax. The new series is currently streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video worldwide.
The series is also broadcasting a censored version of the show on several Japanese TV stations, while an uncensored “original” version is broadcasting on the AT-X channel.
Many staff from the first series have returned to work on the new series. It includes Hiroyuki Imaishi (previously director and co-scenario writer) as director and co-series screenwriter, with Hiromi Wakabayashi (previously co-scenario writer) as co-series screenwriter, co-director, and concept planner, Shigeto Koyama (Season 1 coordinator, subtitle designer, and co-scenario writer) as art director and co-character designer, SUSHIO (previously co-animation director) and Masaru Sakamoto (Gridman Universe) as co-character designers, and Atsushi Nishigori (previously character designer) as original character designer. TRIGGER is in charge of the animation production.
Other staff consist of Yoh Yoshinari (previously concept artist and art designer et al.) as special specialist, Akira Furukawa (Delicious in Dungeon Episode 9 storyboard artist and director et al.) as co-director, Yukiko Kakita as color coordinator, Masanobu Nomura as background art director, Katsunori Shirado (Gridman Universe) as composting director, Ai Nonaka (Bang Brave Bravern! assistant in-between checker) as title logo designer, and Naoko Tsutsumi (Cyberpunk Edgerunners) as animation producer.
The new series also features several music contributions from Takahashi, TeddyLoid, m-flo, TAKU INOUE, 80KIDZ, KM, TAAR, MONJOE, Yackle, Mitsunori Ikeda, Junji Chiba, and many more.
The premise of New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is described as:
