An October 4 JST premiere date has been announced for the upcoming To Your Eternity Season 3.
This was accompanied by the reveal of Masashi Hamauzu as the ending theme song artist. Hamauzu previously performed the ending themes of the first two seasons.
The announcements come on the same date as the release of the source manga’s 25th and final volume (August 12 JST).
The Kodansha-published To Your Eternity manga by Yoshitoki Ooima began in 2016 in Weekly Shonen Magazine. Kodansha USA describes the story as:
A lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment. But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well …
The anime’s first season aired from April to August 2021, while Season 2 ran from October 2022 to March 2023.
