Rin, the heroine from the popular anime music video “Shelter,” has been brought into our world as a POP UP PARADE SP figure.
Meant to celebrate the music video‘s upcoming 10th anniversary, the Rin figure is currently up for pre-order until September 10 JST (dates according to the general Good Smile Company webstore). It has a price tag of 7,500 yen/US$48.99 and is expected to ship in January 2026 (the US website lists a shipping date of Q2 2026).
Good Smile’s official pictures show that the Dogu-sculpted figure comes with a grassy base. It’s estimated to be around 200mm/7.87-inches tall.
The “Shelter” music video was released in October 2016 by American DJ/singer/producer Porter Robinson and has amassed more than 87 million views on YouTube at the time of writing. The six-minute short film presented the tale of a young girl (Sachika Misawa) living alone in a digital world.
The animation was produced by A-1 Pictures and featured the involvement of staff like:
