One Piece will shine the spotlight on its heroines with One Piece Heroines, a newly announced anime adaptation of ONE PIECE novel HEROINES.

Haruka Kamatani (Looking for Magical Doremi co-director), who has been involved with episode/unit direction throughout the franchise, is directing the new anime. Other staff credits include Takashi Kojima (Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation, Ride Your Wave, The Colors Within) as character designer and Momoka Toyoda (My Happy Marriage Season 1 co-series composer) as scriptwriter.

ONE PIECE novel HEROINES is written by Jun Esaka with illustrations by Sayaka Suwa. Originally serialized in ONE PIECE magazine, two volumes, which Viz Media publishes in English under the title One Piece Heroines, were released between 2021 and 2024 under the JUMP j BOOKS label. The books feature short stories focused on characters like Nami, Robin, Boa Hancock, and Uta.
