The official X/Twitter account for Disney+ has revealed the first season’s main visual for Disney’s Twisted-Wonderland The Animation. The series will premiere on October 29 at Disney+ and will have a total of eight episodes in the season.
The main visual for the season title “Season 1 Episode of Heartslabyul” features Yuuken, Heartslabyul Dorm Leader’s Riddle Rosehearts, Grim, and the rest of the Heartslabyul cast.
The TV anime adaptation was announced at this year’s AnimeJapan. It recently announced the rest of the cast for the season.
Disney Twisted-Wonderland is a mobile game produced by Aniplex and Disney Japan. It was first released in Japan in 2020 before making its global debut in 2022. The original plan, main script, and character designs were all done by Yana Toboso, who is also known as the author of Black Butler. The game has inspired manga and light novel adaptations. Viz Media has licensed and is publishing both the manga adaptations and light novels in English.
