Arena fighter sequel Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is now available outside Japan (which got it on August 1 JST), and so SEGA has released a launch trailer to go along with the game’s release.
The trailer contains what you’d expect — various gameplay and story moments to entice Demon Slayer fans with the fact that they can experience key battles from the anime/manga themselves, and a reminder that there are a lot of playable Demon Slayer characters (more than 40) to take control of in VS mode. Academy Rengoku and Academy Uzui also make an appearance.
The CyberConnect2-developed title is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Steam, and Switch. The sequel to 2021’s Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles covers the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc for its story mode.
While you won’t be invading the Infinity Castle in this game, it was previously announced that Muzan will be added to VS as a free update, and that there will be a Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle character pass “soon.”
