Japanese rap duo Creepy Nuts released a new collaboration music video last week for their single “Mirage” with the ongoing second season of Call of the Night, in which the song serves as its newest opening theme.
The collaboration music video features scenes from the anime series and includes English subtitles.
Additionally, the single “Mirage / Nemure,” which includes the second season’s ending theme “Nemure,” will be released on CD starting September 10, 2025. It includes instrumental versions and non-credit opening and ending sequences from the anime. The cover art is specially illustrated by original manga creator Kotoyama, who previously designed the cover artwork for their single “Daten.”

Since its release on July 4, 2025, “Mirage” has surpassed 10 million streams globally. It debuted at number one on Billboard Japan’s Global Japan Songs Excluding Japan chart, becoming Creepy Nuts’ third entry to take the top spot. The song also entered Spotify’s Global Viral Top 50.
Creepy Nuts’ first Asia Tour will begin this coming October 2025, where they will perform in several cities across South Korea, China, and Taiwan.
The second season premiered in Japan on July 4, 2025 after it was first announced in March 2024. It will contain 12 total episodes. The first season premiered in July 2022 and contained 13 episodes.
HIDIVE is streaming the second season of Call of the Night in select English-speaking countries and territories, as it did with the first season. It describes the main synopsis as:
Ko overcomes his confusion about becoming a vampire and decides to “like” Nazuna, while Nazuna resolves to make Ko “fall in love” with her. Without understanding what “love” even is, the two of them spend their nights together in a frenzy. Meanwhile, Detective Uguisu Anko is closing in with her plot to kill vampires, not just Nazuna. A vampire’s weakness is “anything they were attached to when they were human” and so they all try to get rid of this weakness before it’s too late. But, Nazuna has no memory of her human life. What is Nazuna’s hidden past? Why did Anko start killing vampires? And what is the “secret” that Nazuna and Anko share? For Ko, Nazuna, Anko, a fun “late night” doesn’t end here… a new “night” begins!
