Sega has released a pre-launch trailer for arena fighter Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 ahead of its August 5 launch (August 1 JST in Japan).
The trailer primarily previews the game’s story content and the Hashiras in VS mode, before ending with a tease of Muzan, who will be added to the VS roster in a free update. It also reveals that an Infinity Castle character pass will be “coming soon.”
Sega has been steadily dropping trailers for the CyberConnect2-developed title, providing an overview of the sequel’s new features and highlighting individual characters and gameplay aspects. One of the recent videos showcased Giyu and Shinobu’s dual ultimate.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Steam, and Switch. The sequel to 2021’s Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will cover the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc in story mode and boasts a roster of over 40 in VS.
