With the ZOMBIE LAND SAGA: Yumeginga Paradise‘s Japanese premiere just a few months away, a main trailer has been released to preview the anime movie’s alien invasion premise and an awakened Tae Yamada, who can be seen blasting a sci-fi gun (the plot will involve Tae leaving Franchouchou and heading off to fight the invaders by herself). A snippet of the song “Matataku Sora ni Akogarete” is included too.
Elsewhere, there’s a main visual and the announcement that a Greatest Hits-style Zombie Land Saga album, Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise Franchouchou The Best Paradise, will go on sale on October 29 JST. There are 19 tracks (nine are instrumentals), with four being new tracks from the movie.
Additionally, there will be an early screening of the film on September 28 JST at Shinjuku Wald 9.
ZOMBIE LAND SAGA: Yumeginga Paradise is set to premiere in Japan on October 24 JST.
The announcement of a ZOMBIE LAND SAGA movie was made back in 2021, the same year the anime’s second season aired. The first season was broadcast in 2018. Crunchyroll describes Season 1’s premise as:
A typical morning. The usual music. Their normal lives. The peace these seven girls experience will suddenly be destroyed. By the living dead… zombies. A reality that they never wanted a part of, an amazing and terrifying zombie world. They all share one wish: “We want to live.” These girls will struggle through this saga, in order to achieve a miracle.
