A new key visual and first main trailer have been unveiled for the upcoming A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan in October 2025.
The new visual features the protagonist Takeru, with his companion Bee and some other travelers joining them on their journey.
Additionally, VTuber music unit Nornis is performing the anime’s main opening theme “Prologue,” as highlighted in the new trailer.
Yoshinori Odaka (Mr. Villain’s Day Off, Osomatsu-san Season 4) is directing the anime series, with Gigaemon Ichikawa (A Galaxy Next Door, Bogus Skill <<Fruitmaster>> ~About that time I became able to eat unlimited numbers of Skill Fruits (that kill you)~) as series screenwriter, and Mayumi Watanabe (Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms, Too Cute Crisis) as character designer. Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP are in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes Nobunaga Shimazaki as the protagonist Takeru, Ayasa Ito as Bee, and Makoto Koichi as Brolite.
The anime is based on the isekai light novel series written by Masuo Kinoko, which was first published by AlphaPolis on January 31, 2017. Sixteen volumes have been released as of March 2025. The series began as a web novel on AlphaPolis on July 7, 2016. Susumu Kuroi is the current illustrator of the light novels, having taken over since volume seven. The previous illustrators include Senbon Umishima, who illustrated volumes one through four, and Katsuki Onda, who illustrated volumes five and six.
Umishima and Kuroi are credited with the original character designs for the anime adaptation.
The light novel series also inspired a manga in December 2017 by Tomozo, and also received the Grand Prize and Reader’s Choice Award at the 9th AlphaPolis Fantasy Novel Awards. The manga is published digitally in English on AlphaPolis’ Alpha Manga app.
