A new IMAX poster visual has been unveiled for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle anime film. The first entry, also known in Japan as Gekijoban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou-hen Daiisshou Akaza Sairai, premiered in Japanese theaters on July 18, 2025.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will consist of a three-part trilogy that adapts the final story arc of the original manga series. The first anime film will arrive in IMAX and premium large formats in the United States and Canada on September 12, 2025, distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment. More information on the film’s international release will be added on the official website in the future.
The returning staff from the TV anime series working on the film series include Haruo Sotozaki as director, Akira Matsushima as character designer, Yuko Omae as color designer, Yuichi Terao as compositing director, Masaru Yanaka (reprising from Mugen Train and Hashira Training Arc) and Yuri Kabazawa (reprising from Mugen Train and Hashira Training Arc) as background art directors, and Yuri Kabazawa (reprising from Mugen Train and Hashira Training Arc) as background art supervisor. Ufotable is in charge of the animation production and script production.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes:

The original Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga by Koyoharu Gotouge ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from February 15, 2016 to May 18, 2020. A total of 23 tankobon volumes were released during its publication.
The anime began in 2019 with the first TV anime season, which was followed by Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train, a TV broadcast version of Mugen Train, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc.

Viz Media releases the manga series in English, describing the main premise as:
Learning to destroy demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers—but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!
