Pony Canyon has announced that BAND-MAID‘s main ending theme of the Tougen Anki TV anime series “What is justice?” is now available on several music streaming platforms.

An official music video featuring the Japanese hard rock band was also released.
The ending theme song was specially written for the anime series, with BAND-MAID lead vocalist Miku Kobato providing the following comment:
I’m truly happy to be involved in the ending theme for TOUGEN ANKI, po! After reading the original manga, I was deeply moved over and over again by the intense battles between those who carry the blood of Oni and Momotaro, po. It really made me reflect on the question, “What is justice?” and I poured those thoughts into the lyrics, po. I hope that everyone who watches the anime can dive even deeper into the world of TOUGEN ANKI through BAND-MAIDʼ s “What is justice?”, po. I canʼ t wait for the anime to start airing, po!
BAND-MAID has contributed several opening and ending themes to various anime titles, including most recently “Zen” as the opening theme for ZENSHU and “Ready to Rock” as the opening theme for Rock is a Lady’s Modesty.

REMOW licensed Tougen Anki for global streaming outside of Japan on the It’s Anime YouTube channel, Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video. It describes the main synopsis as:
The bloodlines of “Oni” and “Momotaro” have been passed down among certain humans for generations. Long ago, the Oni, aware of their own ferocity, lived in seclusion. However, their peace was shattered by an invasion led by Momotaro. Over thousands of years, these two factions formed the “Momotaro Agency” and the “Oni Agency,” respectively, and have been locked in conflict ever since.
The protagonist, Shiki Ichinose, suddenly learns of his Oni lineage following an unexpected attack by Momotaro. This revelation sets Shiki on a path to discover the destiny that lies within his blood — a meeting with the Oni dwelling within him.
