The upcoming manga-themed anime Egao No Taenai Shokuba Desu has received its first trailer and a key visual.

Egao No Taenai Shokuba Desu is set to premiere in October. It is based on the manga by Kuzushiro, which began serialization on Kodansha’s Comic DAYS in 2019 and has 12 volumes as of April 2025. The “working girls comedy” follows a newcomer female manga artist (Nana) with occasional delusions, her older editor (Kanade), and her assistant (Mizuki).
