The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife TV anime has received a delay from 2025 to 2026. A teaser trailer, as well details about the staff and cast, were also revealed.

Mitsuho Seta (Magical Girl holoWitches! animation PV alternate dimension designer, background art director, color designer et al.) is the director and series composer of the Project No.9 production. Some of the other staff credits are:

Character designer: Kairi Unabara (the upcoming Witch Hat Atelier)
Suit design supervisor: Yoichi Kadono 

Meanwhile, the main voice actors are Yohei Azakami as Akira Tounome and Yuka Nukui as Shizuka Yakou.

The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife is based on the manga by IWATOBINEKO, which started as a Twitter comic and is serialized in Futabasha’s JOUR. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the premise as: 

Yakou Shizuka, a quiet and bashful woman, works at a detective agency. Her boss Tounome, who owns the company, is the gentlemanly type, kind and dapper, though he has an extra talent—he’s invisible! His special ability is perfect for detective work, but he quickly comes to find it doesn’t work on Yakou, who is blind and always knows if he’s near. Charmed, Tounome is determined to get her to date him and isn’t against using his many skills. Yakou’s quirky coworkers, a contrarian human man and a sisterly beastwoman, kindly watch over her as she stumbles and blushes through the uncharted waters of office romance.
