Two main cast members and a new teaser visual have been unveiled for the upcoming Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi TV anime adaptation. The series will premiere in Japan in 2026, with the show’s official website listing its English title as Mistress Kanan is Devilishly Easy.
The new cast members headlining the series include Aoi Koga as Kanan Takakiyo and Seiichiro Yamashita as Yoji Kyogi.
Studio KAI is the animation production company for the anime. No additional staff information was announced, as of the time of writing.
The anime is based on the romantic comedy manga series by Nonco. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on June 1, 2022 and has released nine tankobon volumes, as of April 2025. A 10th volume will be released in Japan on July 16, 2025.
Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi is described as a first love romantic comedy between a simple-minded, cute demon and an air-headed, positive human.
