The previously announced second season of the workplace magical girl TV anime series Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. will debut in 2026. A new teaser visual of the main heroine, Kana Sakuragi, was also revealed. No new information on season two’s staff or studio were announced, as of the time of writing.
The first season premiered in Japan on October 4, 2024 and ran for 12 episodes until December 20, 2024. Amazon Prime Video streamed the anime series worldwide.
The original manga series also recently concluded its four-year serialization on Shonen Jump+ on July 9, 2025, ending with its 160th chapter.
Masahiro Hiraoka (Kakegurui Twin and One Punch Man Season 2 CG director) directed the first season, with Shingo Nagai (Girly Air Force series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter) as screenwriter and scriptwriter, Hidehiro Asama (Pokémon Card Game CM, Kakegurui Twin CG layout artist) as character designer, and Makoto Miyazaki (Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead) as music composer. Studio MOE and J.C.STAFF were in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

The anime is based on the manga series, written by Sekka Iwata and illustrated by Yu Aoki. It was first launched on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ platform on October 20, 2021 and has released 17 tankobon volumes as of June 2025. The manga is also published in English digitally on the Manga PLUS platform.
VIZ Media releases the Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. manga series in English, which describes the main synopsis as:
