Hisamakumako‘s Ichijyoma Mankitsu Gurashi manga is getting an anime.
The Manga Time Kirara title follows Meiko, a countryside girl who attends a high school for ladies. Due to the conditions and circumstances related to the school’s dormitory, Meiko also finds herself becoming a live-in employee at a manga cafe.
A commemorative illustration from Hisamakumako was released with the announcement. Another illustration was posted on Hisamakumako’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
The manga began serialization in 2018 and will release its fourth volume on July 26, 2025 JST.
