Bungo Stray Dogs’s first season aired in Japan on April 7, 2016 and will be celebrating its upcoming 10th anniversary this coming April 2026. Several commemorative projects leading up to its decade-long anniversary are planned throughout this year, with the newly released ninth anniversary visual being a part of the celebrations, starting this July.

The second project is a collaboration campaign with the Japanese ochazuke (a dish consisting of hot tea, dashi, or water over rice) restaurant chain Dashichazuke En in August. The campaign is scheduled to be held at all stores of the chain in Japan from August 5, 2025 to September 15, 2025. More details about the collaboration will be announced at a later date.

Later this September, the third project will see Animate hosting the “Bungo Stray Dogs Autumn Grand Festival,” where new merchandise featuring original illustrations of the Port Mafia members traveling to Kyushu will be sold. The items featured in the collection will be unveiled sequentially, starting September 5, 2025, at all Animate stores, including overseas stores, and on Animate’s online store.

Some of the items sold will include acrylic stands, holographic character badge collections, mini trunk cases, and locker key-styled keychains. Certain stores in the Kyushu region will also display special character standee panels.

Additionally, exclusive pop-up shops will be held at the Animate Ikebukuro main store in Tokyo and the Animate Umeda store in Osaka. Character standees of the ninth anniversary celebratory visual will be displayed at the venues, along with the availability of acrylic stands and trading can badges based on the same visual. There will also be some exhibits and displays displayed, including a mini diorama of BAR Lupin, as featured in the anime. Full details of the merchandise sold will be announced at a later date.

The pop-up shop at Animate Ikebukuro main store runs from September 20, 2025 to October 5, 2025, while the pop-up shop at Animate Umeda runs from October 11, 2025 to October 26, 2025.

More details for each anniversary celebration project will be periodically announced on the official anime’s 10th anniversary webpage and the show’s official Twitter/X account.
