Late last June, virtual artist KAF and Japanese singer CHiCO (formerly of CHiCO with HoneyWorks) released a new pair of songs created in collaboration with each other titled “Break Out” and “Story Tellers.” The two new songs are now available on all music streaming services.

The singles are part of KAF’s ongoing Suite Series, which is a collaboration between her and creators from different backgrounds. Two music videos for “Break Out” and “Story Tellers,” which are credited to each respective artist, were also released last week.
KAF and CHiCO’s two songs explore the duality of womanhood and offer “differing perspectives on being a woman” and “what the future has in store.”
“Break Out” is written by prolific artist Ryujin Kiyoshi, while “Story Tellers” features contributions from members of the popular Japanese rock band SPYAIR.
KAF most recently participated in her first-ever North American concert at Chicago’s Anime Central in May, a set at Jakarta’s Anime Festival Asia in June, and a performance at Fantastic Reality in Los Angeles last week. She also performed at the popular Expo 2025 Osaka with Mori Calliope.
