Pony Canyon has revealed a new trailer and two additional cast members for the upcoming Mechanical Marie TV anime series, which will premiere in Japan in October 2025.

The two new cast members include Chiaki Kobayashi as Noah and Ami Koshimizu as Marie-2.

The anime adaptation is directed by Junji Nishimura (Vlad Love, Hikari no Ou), with Mariko Kunisawa (The Dinner Table Detective) as series screenwriter, Yoko Kikuchi (Twilight Out of Focus) as character designer, and Yasuharu Takanashi (Fairy Tail, Naruto Shippuden) and Johannes Nilsson (Gushing Over Magical Girls) as music composers. Zero-G and Lieber are handling the animation production for the series.

Aki Akimoto‘s romantic comedy manga series began serialization in Hakusensha’s Monthly Lala magazine on June 24, 2020 and ended on June 23, 2023. Six tankobon volumes were released in Japan in total. Yen Press licensed the manga for release in English earlier this year.

A sequel series titled Mechanical Marie+ was later launched in the same magazine on April 24, 2025.
