WEBTOON Entertainment announced this week that it has launched a new partnership with Saturday AM, bringing six of the publisher’s most popular manga-inspired series from BIPOC creators to the company’s English-language platform.
The first wave of series reformatted for WEBTOON’s vertical scroll function includes Clock Striker, Apple Black, and Hammer, which are all set to launch in Fall 2025. Additional titles set to join WEBTOON in the future include The Massively Multiplayer World of Ghosts, Titan King, and Gunhild. Launch dates for each series will be announced at a later date.
Saturday AM is a digital comic brand that was founded in 2013 by Frederick L. Jones and artists Odunze Oguguo and Raymond Brown. It has been publishing manga that “reflects the real-world diversity of its readers” and includes “popular, exclusive, and diverse action manga-style webcomics by independent creators from around the world,” according to their official website.
