TV Asahi has revealed a new teaser visual and trailer for the upcoming The Dangers in My Heart theatrical compilation anime film. The film is scheduled to premiere in Japan on February 13, 2026, while an international release will be announced at a later date.
Additionally, TV Asahi and HIDIVE will be presenting a sneak peek at the film at Anime Expo 2025 on July 4, 2025 at 8:00 PM in the JW Diamond panel room. As previously announced, special guests will include director Hiroaki Akagi (Teasing Master Takagi-san) and producers Yosuke Sakurai and Kazuki Endo.
Separately, the special guests will also be present at the TV Asahi Industry Panel with special guests from Science SARU. The panel will be held on July 5, 2025 at 2:45 PM PST in panel room 403AB.
The Dangers in My Heart compilation film will both seasons of the TV anime series together with brand new animation sequences. The first season aired for 12 episodes in 2023 and the second season aired for 13 episodes in 2024.
The recent second season had many of the production staff from season one. Besides Akagi as director, the staff included Jukki Hanada (Love Live! Superstar!!) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Masato Katsumata (The Quintessential Quintuplets) as character designer, and Kensuke Ushio (Chainsaw Man) as music composer. Shin-Ei Animation handled the animation production.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast includes:

- • Hina Yomiya as Anna Yamada
- • Ayaka Asai as Chihiro Kobayashi
- • Megumi Han as Moeko Sekine
- • Atsumi Tanezaki as Serina Yoshida
Norio Sakurai’s romantic comedy manga series has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross website since July 10, 2018. The series is published under the Shonen Champion Comics label and has released 12 tankobon volumes as of June 2025. Seven Seas Entertainment licenses the series for release in English.
A spinoff manga centered on Kyotaro’s older sister, Kana, will be launched on the Champion Cross website on July 22, 2025.
HIDIVE is streaming both seasons of The Dangers in My Heart, describing the main synopsis as:
