Animation production studio A-1 Pictures has announced the Psyde Kick Studio label, which it says was founded with the aim of pursuing freer and more creative expressions.
Other key elements that are highlighted include challenging initiatives that will be taken on with young creators and the development of an innovative planning and animation production flow. Through these, says the announcement, the label won’t be bound by existing frameworks and will look for new animation possibilities.
Jun Kato, whose recent credits include being a production supervisor on Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- and Lycoris Recoil -Friends are thieves of time., is the label’s representative. There are plans to start multiple new projects.
The “Psy” part of Psyde Kick Studio’s name is derived from “psycho” and “psychedelic,” with the explanation being that they ring of freedom and individuality.
