VTuber agency hololive and popular baseball team Los Angeles Dodgers are collaborating once again for the hosting of “hololive Night” which will be held at Dodgers Stadium on July 5 this year. The event takes place exactly a year after the first collaboration between hololive and the LA Dodgers.
For this year’s event, hololive is tapping VTuber talents Ninomae Ina’nis, IRyS, and Koseki Bijou to partake. As part of the announcement, a livestream introducing the collaboration was hosted, in which the three talents played baseball-inspired mini-games. Limited-time merchandise was also shown, including towels, stickers, beer and soda cup, as well as a popcorn bucket.
For last year’s collaboration, hololive called upon Hoshimachi Suisei, Usada Pekora, and Gawr Gura, The event also saw the release of limited-edition collaboration merch, as well as trading cards featuring the talents.
During the baseball match, Gura famously performed the popular baseball anthem “Take Me Out To The Ball Game”, and a drone show featuring the talents was also done after the game.
Gura recently graduated from hololive, on May 1.
